MOVE IT OR LOSE IT
Across the globe back pain is the leading cause of disability that leads to work absenteeism. Its easier to work towards preventing back pain by promoting spinal health. Team that involves in treating spinal ailments (surgeons , Therapists , yoga instructors , dieticians ) now a days have defined goals of holistic approach to promote spinal health.
More often the key is breaking the vicious cycle that perpetuates the symptom- back pain.
Its is oversimplification if we say exercises cure back pain. It not only reduces weight , improves posture and tones up muscle it also releases endorphins to reduce stress.
Exercises and yoga have a greater role in prevention of chronic low back pain (where back muscle weakness is the reason for persistence of pain).
WHO recommends 150 minutes of aerobic exercises a week with at least 2 sessions of strength training to avoid low back pain
MOVEMENT is not only the essence of life but also a prerogative for overall health.
